Mr. Viren Kapadia is the Principal of Kapadia Lawyers. He was a former Partner at Sherani & Co for about 20 years.
He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Politics and a Bachelor of Laws degree from University of Auckland, New Zealand in 1984. He joined Sherani & Co in 1984 as an associate Barrister & Solicitor. His other academic achievements include a Graduate Diploma in Accounting, which he obtained from Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia in 1991.
Mr. Viren Kapadia was admitted to the Supreme Court of New Zealand in 1983 and to the High Court of Fiji in 1984. In 1987 he was admitted to the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory and 1988, to the Supreme Court of Victoria. From 1988 to 1991 he practiced law in Melbourne, Australia. In 1992 he returned to Fiji and resumed employment with Sherani & Co until 1999 when he became a partner of the firm until 2018. He is a Notary Public in Fiji.
Mr. Viren Kapadia practices in the areas of Commercial and Civil Litigation, General Conveyancing, Judicial Reviews, Land Transport, Trade Practices, Admiralty Law and Banking and Finance.
He has been the President of Art of Living Foundation of Fiji from 2006 to 2011. He is also a Member of the Fiji Law Society and an Associate Member of the Queensland Law Society. Mr. Viren Kapadia speaks English, Hindi and Gujarati.
